Our Programs

Our programs focus on the importance of social interaction. We place an emphasis on sharing and caring for others. Experiences will include block play, large motor activities, role-playing through dress up and circle games. Creative experiences are also a major focus within the Sawyer Nursery School curriculum. Painting, coloring, cutting, gluing, and using clay, sand and water are some of the ways that the children will be able to express themselves. Pre-reading skills and number concepts are introduced through the use of games and manipulative toys. Music time provides the children with the opportunity to express themselves through creative movement, songs, musical instruments, and drama. Science and creative explorations are incorporated into the curriculum through fun experiments.
